We are pleased to announce the release of VHF Trainer LITE, the ultimate app to learn, practice and test the knowledge about VHF radio, the Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and GMDSS procedures.

Radiocommunication devices are one of the fundamental supports of maritime safety. Since the end of the 19th century this technology has been used to safeguard life at sea, hence its importance is not only for our safety but also for third parties. If all mariners are aware of how communications and GMDSS works, the error margins are reduced when making a rescue or assisting a crew in distress.

Advenio Software will be present as exhibitor at the Barcelona International Boat Show 2016, from October 12th to 16th.  In this event we will be launching our new line of apps targeted to skippers and sailors and introducing the new version of our GMDSS Simulator Vox Maris. 

Our expectations before setting sail are always to have a good time and enjoy the sea. In order to do that, being prepared to face any possible eventualities that may arise is crucial to avoid placing ourselves and others in a dangerous situation.

VHF Trainer is a complete suite that offers both theoretical and practical material for the student to be able to learn GMDSS maritime communications basics, especially in VHF maritime communications system that is the most used by seafarers and it is around in practically all ships. Our aim from Advenio Software is to move forward to a new way of learning according to the following principle: “if I listen to it, I forget it; if I see it, I remember it; if I do it and I practice, I understand it”.

Advenio Software will be present as exhibitor at the Barcelona International Boat Show 2015, from October 14th to 18th. In this event we will be introducing the new version of our GMDSS Simulator Vox Maris. This version has been recently certified by the most prestigious certification institutions such as DNV-GL (Norway) and AMERC (United Kingdom).

On December 19 took place the 18th Edition of "ExportAr" Award , which recognizes the export performance of domestic companies during the year. The ceremony took place at 17:00 pm in Libertador San Martín Palace Lounge.

Advenio Software was honored with the International Projection and Young Bonaerense Entrepreneur Award 2012 issued by the Young Entrepreneurs branch of Buenos Aires Province's Economic Federation (JEFEBA), being distinguished among 260 enrolled and 60 cities represented of the Buenos Aires province.

For the fourth time in our history, Advenio Software receives CESSI recognition (CESSI - Chamber Entrepreneur of Software and Information Services) as finalist of the prestigious Sadosky Awards "to the Argentinean Intelligence" that each year is given to individual persons, organizations and companies, for their work, performance, and contribution to the growth of IT Industry in Argentina.
